Tea Party : BtssB Summer 2013

Surely one of my most long-awaited event... The BtssB Summer Tea Party ! That was the first time I could attempt to a Summer Tea Party and I was especially glad I could spend that dream come true with my dear friends ♡ The Tea Party was a great occasion to spend some time with great friends, but also to meet some other people ! Especially foreigner lolitas, that came from all over Europe~

My friends and I met not so far away from my flat, in order to take the subway all together. That was some kind of epic, haha, fabulous from head to toe, it's kind of difficult to be subtle dressed like we were... We eat at McDonald's because that's so classy, but that's some kind of tradition now. The Tea Party official began at 2PM, however there were already a lot of lolitas waiting in front of the hotel as we decided to finally go there. I wish I took more pictures outside, but I was too busy running to Rosalynn and Emilie : I couldn't wait to finally meet them ! Since I've always been a big fan of Rosalynn's blog and Emilie's coordinations, that was a great honor to meet them and spend some time with them throughout the Tea Party.

Ludo, Pom' and Marie, showing us their most amazing pose

When the doors of the Tea Party officially opened, I was glad to see that the tables were for nine people : this way we could all sit on the same table  (I was afraid we had to separate ;__;). Our lovely table was composed by : Marie, Pom', Lucie, Zoé, Ludo, Sam, Shimi, Aliénor and I ! Though I finally didn't sit a lot... haha ! Talking and laughing with people was way better than sitting~ Before talking about the following hours, I just wanted to share with you some of the amazing coords I saw and the amazing people I met !

Left : Pom' presenting Champagne
Right : Zoé and Ludo presenting, well... water...
Rosalynn in her oh-so-cute ballerina coordination ♡
Left : Two gorgeous lolitas from Germany !
Right : Emilie, Rosalynn and I, I'm so glad we've a picture together.
All those beautiful ladies were from Germany (well, except myself).
Diep was as elegant as always : I was so happy to meet her again !!
Weren't they all so amazing ? I was amazed to see so many people so well-dressed, I think everybody wore an unique and beautiful outfit for the occasion. I wore myself a coordination I was thinking about for a long time ! I should have worn this dress for the Winter Tea Party, unfortunately (or maybe fortunately ?), I didn't receive in time for the February event. I wanted to celebrate my first Summer Tea Party with something special : an handmade scepter ! I went for a magical-queen coordination, full pink (and Btssb) from head to toe (with some touches of gold). I spent hours making the scepter, it was sooo tiring but it was worth it, I was pretty happy with the result.

I am wearing : Dress, blouse, bag, anklecuffs and shoes : Baby the stars shine bright
Train (not shown) and scepter : Handmade — Socks and tiara : Offbrand

As the Tea Party was going on, it was too hot to stay in the same room. Therefore some of us spend some times in the corridor while we were... well... camwhoring and having fun ? Haha ! But I guess those pictures will bring a lot of memories later, there are the funniest and the most significant.

The end of the Tea Party coming, Btssb's staff invited us to sit down again : lottery and best coordination prizes were coming ! As for the Winter Tea Party, ten lottery prizes and two best coordination prize (one for Btssb coordination and one for Aatp's one) were given away. I really was never lucky for lottery however I guess can thank all people that voted for me... I was elected for the best Btssb coordination ! (ж>▽<) ☆ Lucie and her peacock-themed coordination was elected as the best AatP coordination, she really deserved it ! I don't remember which person I picked as my favorite coordinations, but regarding all the pictures I saw of this event, I think I would now pick Ludo or the German lolita in Masquerade Theater for Aatp prize and Harly Harlekin or Sam Fancymelody for Btssb prize.

I made a lot of great memories during this afternoon, met amazing people, saw gorgeous coordination. Though it was exhausting to made this scepter and my train (it doesn't really show on the picture, but I had one, haha~), I really don't regret it at all. It was the first time I put so much of myself and of my time into a coordination : It was great, and it was worth it. I now can't wait to attend to the next Winter Tea Party ! But I guess we will have to wait until February 2014...

Last but not least, the last pictures I wanted to share with you. I'm sorry my report are always so long, I can't help but add all those fancy pictures in order to illustrate my posts, haha~ Still hope some of you enjoyed it !

Finally a picture of all the people I spent most of my time with during this Tea Party,
(from left to right) : Sam, Lucie, Pom', Ludo, Marie, Aliénor, myself, Shimi and Zoé.

See you soon for the "Saturday at Japan Expo" report ! (⌒▽⌒)☆

Tea Party : BtssB Winter 2013

Last February I had the chance to go to the Baby, the stars shine bright's winter Tea Party ! It was my very first official event, I was as excited as a kid at Christmas. I was really really looking forward to being there since I'd never been able to participate in any official event when I was in south of France (going to Paris can be really expensive). Saturday 23rd February, the BtssB's Tea Party took place in one of the most lolita-esque place : Ladurée. Sounds great, isn't it ? Well... It does not only sound great, it was great ! It was wonderful~

Before the Tea Party I had a lunch with Ludo, Marie and Aliénor. We decided to go together but Samantha was missing... She was working on Saturday so she couldn't attend to the event. We spent the early afternoon eating Happy Meals at Mcdonald's — because yeah, that's the best menu ever before a Tea Party — and strolled around the Champs-Elysées waiting for 3PM to ring.

Aliénor, Ludovic, Marie and I

Almost everybody was on time, we went upstairs in order to discover the three amazing rooms that Ladurée set aside for us. There was one big room with two tables and two smaller rooms with one table each. The four of us took a sit in one of the two small rooms along with Zoé, Tro-tro, Tiya, Pom', Claire (the Btssb's shopgirl) and a last girl that I — I'm sorry — forgot the name.

I did want to wear my Alice Bruges Tutu JSK however I didn't receive it in time, so I finally chose my Twinkle Dreaming Princess JSK. I also do adore this dress so I finally was very happy to wear it. I wanted something very princess-ish and poetic, with a lot of gold accents. It was long to collect all the hair accessories I wanted (some even are painted in order to have the right colour). I also wanted gold and glittering shoes, since I didn't find anything I liked on time, I painted them myself, with gold glitters (it was long... so long. Months after my flat is still covered in glitters, I sometimes find them in unexpected places, haha). I wish I could also show you decent pictures with my pink cape and glittering gold bag, but I don't have any.

I am wearing : Dress : BtssB — Blouse : BtssB— Socks : BtssB
Hair accessories : H&M  — Shoes : Hand-made

(Left) Aliénor and Marie : Look how gorgeous they are ! Aren't they like two ghost goddesses ?
(Right) Zoé and Ludo : It's sad you can't see their whole outfit, they really were amazingly dressed
Tro-tro(ishka) and Tiy(ouchka) wearing their amazing Russian and Swan Lake's inspired coordinations.

The service was delicious, we first had viennoiseries, orange or grapefruit freshly pressed juice, a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate (we could, of course, take more than one cup) and arrays of dessert miniatures — with iconic Ladurée's macarons. Then come the champagne, that — I guess — everybody was really happy to see, haha. Though I'm not fond of anything sparkling (don't worry, I gave my drink to somebody else, no champagne was wasted !) I also was very surprised and amused to see that we had champagne. Last but not least we also had to choose a Ladurée's pastry among the very delicious variety they presented to us. Every single thing was delicious, I barely eat everything I picked — well... that was hard, but I did it, haha.

I really the picture on the left I sdould print it in order to have some souvenirs
And our amazing table ! — Unfortunately Ludo was taking the picture so he's not pictured ;__;

The Tea Party itself went very well, everybody was nice and well dressed — beautiful coordinations, beautiful coordinations everywhere ! My personal favorites were Hanako and Aliénor one's (I wish I could show you Hanako's coordination, but I don't have any picture of it). Aliénor's coordination was so gorgeous she even won the AatP's coordination prize, amazing, isn't it ?~ There was a lot of prizes for the tombola and the two best coordinations (BtssB and AatP) : giving a total of twelve prices ! Baby, the stars shine bright really spoiled us this year, I think so, haha.

Diep and I. It was the first time we met, what an adorable and kind girl~ And she comes from Vietnam !
I can't wait to meet her again this summer at Paris' events (>w<)
The still amazing Tro-tro(ishka)
Marine and I. We met few days before the Tea Party at BtssB store !
Zoé and I : I'm glad we have a picture together ! Though we don't even look to the same side ;__;
How beautiful is Pom'~ Her coordination was bird/birdcage's inspired !

I keep an amazing memory of my first official event ! I met new people, as Tiya and Tro-tro, that a lot of people told me about : I was glad to finally meet them The whole tea party was so amazing and pleasing, I wish I could have spent more time meeting people, talking with them and having fun. The rooms were fabulous, so does the menu and the service, I think that was even better than I've ever expected ! I can't wait July to come, I hope I will be able to participate in Angelic Pretty and/or BtssB's Tea Partyヾ(*>v<)

Here is a bonus video I made after the Tea Party,
I'm not a professional at all, but it was fun to do it  (and HD quality, yeah !)

Thank you for reading ! Hope you liked it

Most of the pictures belong to Marie Tuonetar, Aliénor : thanks to them for letting me using them

Tea Party : Rouge Dentelle & Rose Ruban SUD

Hello~~ How are you readers ? I spent my weekend in my hometown (well... one of my hometowns) in order to participate at the first Tea Party organized in south of France by Rouge Dentelle & Rose Ruban. How great !! The Tea Party took place in a beautiful hotel's event room, it was gorgeous : perfect for lolita. The event was named « Le Printemps des Princesses » (Princesses' Spring), so as you're guessing, there was a lot of flowers, butterflies and shades of pink.

I wasn't sure what I should wear. I was waiting for a new dress, really pink, fluffy, elegant, it should have been perfect, but I received it too late : I hadn't the time to think about any good coordination (I was afraid to finally do to the same coordination as I did for the BtssB's Tea Party). Thusly I decided to wear my Angelic Pretty's Misty Sky JSK (« Agaiiin ? » I hear you screaming. But I love that dress, I can't even).

I am wearing : Dress : Angelic Pretty — Blouse : BtssB — Headband : Hand-made
Socks : MILK — Shoes : Vivienne Westwood for Melissa

I wanted a spring outfit without any flower and pink color (is that even possible ?? haha). I finally went for a cloud/feather theme, maybe you can't see from there but there are stars on my socks and feathers on my shoes. The silver socks are matching with the ribbons of the Misty Sky lavender JSK, but I really need some more silver accessories to match with this coordination ! I was thinking about one of those big MILK heart bag, the silver one would be super cute~ But stop talking about things I don't have, and let's give way to pictures of this amazing moment.

There were three tables and twenty-seven girls !

I look so sad on this one, haha, but my friends are so beautiful I could only post it !

Everyone was so beautifully dressed ! ♡ I think each lolita style was proudly represented. It's such a big moment for the southern lolita community in France, it was the first time such a big event happened. A lot of lolitas came from all over south of France (Montpellier, Nimes, Aix-en-Provence, Toulouse, Lyon, ...) and even further (some of them came from Paris !). We were so glad to see so many lolitas make the trip to the Tea Party.

Diana and Léonie at the left : their coordinations were so pretty, I hate myself not to have a head-to-toe picture
Iris at the right : Her antlers were amazing, weren't they ?! She was such a beautiful spring deer !
Tiya (left) and Tro-tro (right) were so cute ! They know how to strike a pose, haha.

I was so happy to meet again my dear friends from south of France, it was a long time I didn't see them. I also met a lot of new people, that I heard about on Facebook or by friends. The Tea Party lasted four hours, but that was still to short to talk to everybody... I hope I will be able to do so next time ! I don't even have a picture of everyone. I'm so mad at me, I wanted to do a beautiful and nice report. I'm so used to stole pictures from other people that I didn't use a lot my father's camera that he lent me (yep, you can hit me).

Despite the bad weather we managed to take some photographs outside (before the rain comes again) and finally got back to the event room for the tombola (Wendy was the lucky winner !). The Tea Party officially ended at 6PM, bit by bit the girls left, in order to go back to their hometown or their hotel. It really was an amazing day, I couldn't even be more happy to meet my friends in south of France and spend all the day with them.

Tiya slept at my house for the week-end, it was a great opportunity to get to know more about her : what a shame she's moving to Toulon when I'm finally living in Paris, but well, we spent already nice moments together and we will see soon~~ (Distance is irrelevant in lolita, haha). After a diner with some of the girls, we went home, talking a long time : that was quite a perfect day !

I'm now again in Paris and I really can't wait to back to my hometown in order to see my friends !
