Black and white

This week-end was a pretty busy week-end ! In a good way ! I had diner with my father and Marie friday evening, took pictures and went to pay my Tea Party tickets to BtssB with Marie, spent the Saturday night with her and Alien and Ludwig. And surely because I love them too much (how kind I am), we also hung out on Sunday, with Sam Fancymelody joining us !!

It was so nice to see her again, it's really been a long time... She's working hard both at school and for her job so every time we see her is a special occasion ! Last year we had a blue themed meet-up, nearly the same period. As we love picking themes for meet-ups, Sam chose : black and white. Because I do own a lot of black and white in my wardrobe, as you may know (;__;). Next time, I swear the meet-up's theme will be pink ! Or chocolate ! Or sweet ! Or anything that I own.

Fancy Melody from hands to toes
Alienor looking as classy as usual in her MmM dress

Luckily, I have my marvelous Marie that (often) lend me her dresses~ I picked a Moi-Même-Moitié black dress, simple but beautiful, I loved the fabric ! So soft and fluffy (≧∇≦). Marie and I went for twin coordinations, not the same dress but same styling. I would love doing some more twining with her ! You may be surprised but we have some dresses in common in our wish-list ☆~(ゝ。∂)

Our first stop was at the courtyard of the Louvre (exactly at the same place we took some pictures during the blue themed meet-up). People are often paying more attention to the Louvre and its pyramid than to lolitas taking photographs, so it's a good place to go, with beautiful architecture ! I guess the only bad point was the terrible wind we had that day...

Yay, Ludwig is, indeedn, sensually looking at you

I am wearing : Dress : MmM — Blouse, shoes : Offbrand  Bag, socks, headdress : BtssB
Flowers (in the hair) : Offbrand — Cardigan : AatP — Scarf : Angelic Pretty

The only to warm ourself up was to go to... Ladurée. Headquarter of our team, it's been a long time we didn't have delicious pastries and tea (or hot chocolate, in this case) at our favorite place. We went to Ladurée Bonarpate that might be my favorite, I just love the feeling of the two rooms (the blue room and the colonial room).

You will be happy to know that months after they took off every chocolate pastries from the menu, Ladurée finally put again the Elysées on the Ladurée Bonarpate menu ! (YAY FOR CHOCOLATE !). It might not be as delicious as the Carré Chocolat is, but at least I didn't have to pout in front of the waiter trying to have a chocolate-only pastry. Doesn't it look delicious ? Ladurée's hot chocolates aren't really my favorites, but it seems my four friends liked it very much : I was the only not taking the hot chocolate or the chocolat viennois.

As we finished earlier than we thought we would, we ended up going to Anecdotes — Axes femme. It was the last week-end of sales. A lot of things were discounted from 50% to 70% ! How amazing ! The neighborhood was really crowded and so was Axes femme shop, we hopefully managed to find some really useful bargains. I wasn't suppose to buy anything but... I just saw that jumpsuit and... I couldn't resist. It really was a bargain ! Alienor bought pants, Sam two boleros and Marie a pair of boots. It seems that everyone was happy to find something, haha~ Well... Except Ludwig. It was kind of reluctant trying the same jumpsuit as mine (but in brown)... I'm still sure it would have fit him perfectly ! ∂)

You can see the jumpsuit in brown in the Axes Femme's catalog, mine is blue/grey though

Last but not least, here are the bonus pictures of the day ! Do we look like idols yet ?
Thank you for reading ! See you soon ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Tea Party : BtssB Winter 2013

Last February I had the chance to go to the Baby, the stars shine bright's winter Tea Party ! It was my very first official event, I was as excited as a kid at Christmas. I was really really looking forward to being there since I'd never been able to participate in any official event when I was in south of France (going to Paris can be really expensive). Saturday 23rd February, the BtssB's Tea Party took place in one of the most lolita-esque place : Ladurée. Sounds great, isn't it ? Well... It does not only sound great, it was great ! It was wonderful~

Before the Tea Party I had a lunch with Ludo, Marie and Aliénor. We decided to go together but Samantha was missing... She was working on Saturday so she couldn't attend to the event. We spent the early afternoon eating Happy Meals at Mcdonald's — because yeah, that's the best menu ever before a Tea Party — and strolled around the Champs-Elysées waiting for 3PM to ring.

Aliénor, Ludovic, Marie and I

Almost everybody was on time, we went upstairs in order to discover the three amazing rooms that Ladurée set aside for us. There was one big room with two tables and two smaller rooms with one table each. The four of us took a sit in one of the two small rooms along with Zoé, Tro-tro, Tiya, Pom', Claire (the Btssb's shopgirl) and a last girl that I — I'm sorry — forgot the name.

I did want to wear my Alice Bruges Tutu JSK however I didn't receive it in time, so I finally chose my Twinkle Dreaming Princess JSK. I also do adore this dress so I finally was very happy to wear it. I wanted something very princess-ish and poetic, with a lot of gold accents. It was long to collect all the hair accessories I wanted (some even are painted in order to have the right colour). I also wanted gold and glittering shoes, since I didn't find anything I liked on time, I painted them myself, with gold glitters (it was long... so long. Months after my flat is still covered in glitters, I sometimes find them in unexpected places, haha). I wish I could also show you decent pictures with my pink cape and glittering gold bag, but I don't have any.

I am wearing : Dress : BtssB — Blouse : BtssB— Socks : BtssB
Hair accessories : H&M  — Shoes : Hand-made

(Left) Aliénor and Marie : Look how gorgeous they are ! Aren't they like two ghost goddesses ?
(Right) Zoé and Ludo : It's sad you can't see their whole outfit, they really were amazingly dressed
Tro-tro(ishka) and Tiy(ouchka) wearing their amazing Russian and Swan Lake's inspired coordinations.

The service was delicious, we first had viennoiseries, orange or grapefruit freshly pressed juice, a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate (we could, of course, take more than one cup) and arrays of dessert miniatures — with iconic Ladurée's macarons. Then come the champagne, that — I guess — everybody was really happy to see, haha. Though I'm not fond of anything sparkling (don't worry, I gave my drink to somebody else, no champagne was wasted !) I also was very surprised and amused to see that we had champagne. Last but not least we also had to choose a Ladurée's pastry among the very delicious variety they presented to us. Every single thing was delicious, I barely eat everything I picked — well... that was hard, but I did it, haha.

I really the picture on the left I sdould print it in order to have some souvenirs
And our amazing table ! — Unfortunately Ludo was taking the picture so he's not pictured ;__;

The Tea Party itself went very well, everybody was nice and well dressed — beautiful coordinations, beautiful coordinations everywhere ! My personal favorites were Hanako and Aliénor one's (I wish I could show you Hanako's coordination, but I don't have any picture of it). Aliénor's coordination was so gorgeous she even won the AatP's coordination prize, amazing, isn't it ?~ There was a lot of prizes for the tombola and the two best coordinations (BtssB and AatP) : giving a total of twelve prices ! Baby, the stars shine bright really spoiled us this year, I think so, haha.

Diep and I. It was the first time we met, what an adorable and kind girl~ And she comes from Vietnam !
I can't wait to meet her again this summer at Paris' events (>w<)
The still amazing Tro-tro(ishka)
Marine and I. We met few days before the Tea Party at BtssB store !
Zoé and I : I'm glad we have a picture together ! Though we don't even look to the same side ;__;
How beautiful is Pom'~ Her coordination was bird/birdcage's inspired !

I keep an amazing memory of my first official event ! I met new people, as Tiya and Tro-tro, that a lot of people told me about : I was glad to finally meet them The whole tea party was so amazing and pleasing, I wish I could have spent more time meeting people, talking with them and having fun. The rooms were fabulous, so does the menu and the service, I think that was even better than I've ever expected ! I can't wait July to come, I hope I will be able to participate in Angelic Pretty and/or BtssB's Tea Partyヾ(*>v<)

Here is a bonus video I made after the Tea Party,
I'm not a professional at all, but it was fun to do it  (and HD quality, yeah !)

Thank you for reading ! Hope you liked it

Force bleue !

Saturday 10th April, I went to another meet-up with my friends. Well, maybe I can't call it a lolita meet-up since it's informal, it's more like a casual outing with friends ! Since Sam couldn't attend to the Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Tea Party (she's the real working girl among us), we decided to lunch together, then go to Ladurée for tea-time and spend all day together : it was our little tea party just for her ♥ This Saturday's theme was "blue".

We went to the Bonaparte Ladurée, this one is on the south side of Paris. I think it really is my favorite one : it's not as crowded as the Champs-Elysées Ladurée and, in my opinion, the atmosphere and decorations are way better than in the Royale Ladurée. There is one room on the ground floor, with an asian colonialism atmosphere and second one, upstairs, with a blue theme — what a great coincidence the waiter made us seat in this one !

After our little tea-time (well, a tealess tea-time for me), we walked around Paris, enjoying the oh-dear-so-great-weather ! We were lucky, I can't say we're currently having a nice spring in Paris, but the saturday was really sunny. An ideal weather in order to take some photographs around one of the many parisian bridges and also around the Louvre

Sam is wearing : Dress : BtssB — Headbow : AatP — Shoes : Nacre Poudré
Ludovic is wearing : Coat : Black Peace Now — Blouse : Theatr'hall
Vest & Pants & Shoes : Vintage and offbrand
Marie is wearing : Hat : Foxcherry — Dress : Moi-Même-Moitié — Shoes : An*tai*na shoes
They are so elegant, aren't they ? I really loved this theme ! We all wore different styles with the same main colour (well... none of us actually had the same blue shade). The Louvre was a really beautiful place to take pictures, the luminosity was soft and perfect. Samantha had already done some pictures at the same place for her own blog, so she thought it would be a great idea to do the same with us — and she was right.

I am wearing : Dress : Angelic Pretty — Blouse : BtssB — Shoes : Monoprix
Bag : New Yorker — Hair accessories : H&M — Thigh highs : offbrand
The Sheep Garden Tiered JSK is the only blue dress I had. I was thinking to sell it, but finally... wearing it made me remember how much I love this dress. Plus, it's super cute for spring and summer ! I can't coordinate this dress with too much accessories and details, it's so soft and cute, I love matching it with natural colours for a sweet look.

This was again an amazing afternoon, we had so much fun. At the end of the day, my feet hurt as hell — I still love those shoes, they don't hurt me enough to not to wear them anymore — but my stomach was full with pastries and sweets, so I guess I could handle that. I really enjoyed that Saturday, I wish I could do that more often ! Unhappily, Samantha had to get home earlier than us and after some sweet goodbyes we finally decided to end the night at Kawaii Cafe.

During the evening, a televsion crew from NHK World went to shoot at Kawaii Cafe, that was quite a surprise since we didn't know about it, but a really funny surprise. They filmed the bar and the customers, and we also got caught up : that was a very entertaining evening. I'll try to know what is the name of the TV program that they recorded and watch it on NHK World channel when it will be on air.

They asked us to write down a word that could describe Paris.
I don't exactly remember what Marie and Ludo wrote. Maybe something about love or fashion ?
Since I was working at Kawaii cafe as a maid during some months
I finally chose to do a "Oishiku nare ♥ Moe Moe Kyun !". I can't get enough of doing it, haha.
That's it for today ! See you soon my lovely readers

2 days in Paris : with Marie (part. 1)

Being in Paris is a real pleasure, it's a place where you can meet a lot of lolitas. Since Marie has been in Paris for a few weeks, I've finally met again her again, we spent two afternoon together ! It was a long time... Last time I saw her it was during march and april 2012.

We went skating on one of the Parisian skating rink still opened. I wish we could go to the "Grand Palais" skating rink, unfortunately it was already close before we met...

After a lot of laughs on the skating rink, we went to second-hand clothes shops for a bit of shopping ! Marie really has an eagle eye for nice second-hand clothes, I was so impressed, I usually can't do the same... She found cute blouses and dresses for spring and summer. But happily I finally found a pretty nice black and gold dress, it can be a nice gothic lolita inspiration (I'll show you in another post).

At the end of the day, our feet were hurting and the weather was clouding so we went to Ladurée in order to spend to rest of the day in a warm and lovely place. Marie chose a tarte tatin and I chose my now usual carré chocolat. It really was a great sunday afternoon, we talked about her internship in Paris, you should have seen the pictures she showed me ! It must be nice to work in a maison de haute-couture.

Marie was wearing an adorable second-hand dress and her biscuit-brooch was too cute ! Unfortunately I don't have a good photographs of my own coordination, so I also couldn't post it on Lookbook... I will try to wear it again when the weather will be a little bit hotter.

Dress : Angelic Pretty — Blouse : Btssb — Hair accessory : Angelic Pretty
