Force bleue !

Saturday 10th April, I went to another meet-up with my friends. Well, maybe I can't call it a lolita meet-up since it's informal, it's more like a casual outing with friends ! Since Sam couldn't attend to the Baby the Stars Shine Bright's Tea Party (she's the real working girl among us), we decided to lunch together, then go to Ladurée for tea-time and spend all day together : it was our little tea party just for her ♥ This Saturday's theme was "blue".

We went to the Bonaparte Ladurée, this one is on the south side of Paris. I think it really is my favorite one : it's not as crowded as the Champs-Elysées Ladurée and, in my opinion, the atmosphere and decorations are way better than in the Royale Ladurée. There is one room on the ground floor, with an asian colonialism atmosphere and second one, upstairs, with a blue theme — what a great coincidence the waiter made us seat in this one !

After our little tea-time (well, a tealess tea-time for me), we walked around Paris, enjoying the oh-dear-so-great-weather ! We were lucky, I can't say we're currently having a nice spring in Paris, but the saturday was really sunny. An ideal weather in order to take some photographs around one of the many parisian bridges and also around the Louvre.

They are so elegant, aren't they ? I really loved this theme ! We all wore different styles with the same main colour (well... none of us actually had the same blue shade). The Louvre was a really beautiful place to take pictures, the luminosity was soft and perfect. Samantha had already done some pictures at the same place for her own blog, so she thought it would be a great idea to do the same with us — and she was right.

The Sheep Garden Tiered JSK is the only blue dress I had. I was thinking to sell it, but finally... wearing it made me remember how much I love this dress. Plus, it's super cute for spring and summer ! I can't coordinate this dress with too much accessories and details, it's so soft and cute, I love matching it with natural colours for a sweet look.

This was again an amazing afternoon, we had so much fun. At the end of the day, my feet hurt as hell — I still love those shoes, they don't hurt me enough to not to wear them anymore — but my stomach was full with pastries and sweets, so I guess I could handle that. I really enjoyed that Saturday, I wish I could do that more often ! Unhappily, Samantha had to get home earlier than us and after some sweet goodbyes we finally decided to end the night at Kawaii Cafe.

During the evening, a televsion crew from NHK World went to shoot at Kawaii Cafe, that was quite a surprise since we didn't know about it, but a really funny surprise. They filmed the bar and the customers, and we also got caught up : that was a very entertaining evening. I'll try to know what is the name of the TV program that they recorded and watch it on NHK World channel when it will be on air.

They asked us to write down a word that could describe Paris.
I don't exactly remember what Marie and Ludo wrote. Maybe something about love or fashion ?

Since I was working at Kawaii cafe as a maid during some months
I finally chose to do a "Oishiku nare ♥ Moe Moe Kyun !". I can't get enough of doing it, haha.

Disney : Classical

Le lendemain de ma seconde rencontre avec Marie, j'avais prévu une petite sortie à Disney en compagnie de Sam et Ludovic. Le fait que j'avais fait, la veille au soir, une soirée bien arrosée au Kawaii Café résume parfaitement mon état du dimanche (quelque chose d'assez peu frais, autrement dit). Spécialité de la maison : les meetings à thème. Le dress-code était donc cette fois-ci, le classical lolita. Occasion parfaite pour ressortir ma Pompadour d'Innocent World que je n'avais pas mise depuis si longtemps !

Si le début de la journée était sous le signe de la pluie et du froid, nous avons finalement plutôt été chanceux. Non seulement le soleil est revenu dans l'après-midi (en plein mois de janvier !), mais il y avait si peu de monde que nous avons pu faire pratiquement la totalité des attractions (ce qui relève du miracle, comprenez bien). Nous avons passé notre journée à trottiner d'une attraction à l'autre, même si certaines — comme le crush coaster, à mon grand malheur — étaient fermées. Finalement, notre seul petit moment de repos fut notre déjeuner au Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant, où nous nous sommes d'ailleurs prêtés au jeu d'une petite séance photo. Le cadre était idéal pour du lolita ! (ainsi que pour se réchauffer après les pluies de la matinée).

A little meet-up at Disneyland Paris was planned on Sunday with Samantha and Ludovic — Marie Tuonetar, unhappily, couldn't join us. I have to say that I wasn't at my best since I spent my Saturday night at Kawaii Cafe for a special event (and what an event !). The meet-up's theme was : classical lolita. What a great opportunity to wear my Innocent World's Pompadour, I hadn't worn it for a long time.

Before lunch, the weather was very bad (well, as bad as a cold parisian winter day can be) but we finally had a lot of sun during the afternoon ! We've been very lucky since Disneyland wasn't crowded as usual : we did all the attractions we wanted to do (and that's a miracle, my dear), even if some attractions, like crush coaster, were closed. Finally, our only rest was during the lunch that we took at the Victoria's Home-Style Restaurant. It's such a great place for lolita photographs.

J'ai l'impression que cela faisait des années que je n'avais pas mis les pieds à Disney. Cela devait faire presque deux ans en vérité, il me semble. J'y étais toujours allée avec ma famille, alors pouvoir y passer du temps avec des amis était un véritable plaisir ! Le Phantom Manor et le château Disney sont des lieux immanquables pour quelques autres photos avant que le soleil ne se couche !  

I felt like it has been years since I didn't go to Disneyland. I think it has been two years or so.... I'd only gone to Disney with my family, having the chance to be there with friends is such a great pleasure ! The Phantom Manor and Disneyland's castle have also been inevitable places to take some pictures before the sun sets. 

Nous avons passés la fin d'après-midi à faire des emplettes dans les divers magasins de la Main Street. C'était la première fois que j'achetais autant là-bas, mais pour ma défense (regardez celle qui s'en veut de dépenser autant là-dedans), tout mes achats était destinés à Kanako. Les goodies Disney de Paris ne sont pas aussi sympathiques que ceux de Tokyo, certes, mais elle adore tout ce qui est parisien, collector et donc encore plus tout ce qui est les deux à la fois ! (Lady étant son personnage préférée, elle était fascinée de voir que nous avions des goodies La Belle et le Clochard). 

Samantha a malheureusement dû nous quitter en début de soirée, et nous sommes donc restés tous les deux, avec Ludovic, jusqu'à la fermeture. Après un dîner express (soit, un hot-dog — mais ils sont bons !), direction le château pour assister au merveilleux Disney Dreams. Je l'avais déjà vu quelques mois auparavant avec Kanako, et c'était l'occasion pour Ludo d'y assister pour la toute première fois. C'est peut-être mon côté théâtral ou bon-public qui parle, mais j'aime toujours autant Disney Dreams, je n'arrive pas à me lasser de ce spectacle !

Autant dire que ce fut une journée bien remplie mais délicieuse, et que mes pieds, enfermés dans ces chaussures si belles mais si inconfortables, s'en sont souvenus toute une semaine encore. 

We spent the end of the afternoon shopping at the Main Street. It was the first time I bought so much ! But well... It wasn't really for me, but for Kanako. Since she's living in Japan, she doesn't have a lot of Lady's goodies (from Lady and the Tramp) and she really loves Parisian limited goodies. I hope she will like what I bought for her. 

Unfortunately, Sam had to go before night, so we ended up the two of us (Ludovic and I). We really wanted to watch Disney Dreams : it's such a great show for the 20th anniversary of Disneyland Paris ! I  had watched it already once with Kanako, so it was my second time : I just can't get enough of this show. 

That Sunday was finally a very busy and amazing day, even my feet have felt it for one entire week (I should wear more comfortable shoes at Disneyland...).

2 days in Paris : with Marie (part. 2)

Two weeks after our first meet in Paris, I met again Marie. We firstly went to the Marché Saint-Pierre, in order to buy some fabrics for her new creations. Then we spent the afternoon between Princesse Crêpe and Manga Café V.2. Princesse Crêpe is such a great place ! I bet a lot of lolitas love this crêpe-shop, and I swear they do very delicious crêpes for a cheap price — well, at least the crêpes are fancier and cheaper than in Parisian cafés or crêpe-shop.

In the late aftertoon, we went to the Manga Café V.2 because we wanted to do some purikura, unhappily the purikura machine was broken ! What a shame... But we still had a good moment, we bought some onigiri and sit on the couch, chit-chatting and laughing. Being in the Manga Café brought back some memories, I read a lot of manga when I was child — well, a teenager. I used to spend a lot of time in a place like this one (in my hometown) and this is where I found some of dearest friends. I'm not as attract as before in manga and anime (even if I've never been that much into anime), I guess we all found new passions and tastes. Though, since I'm a big fan of Sailor Moon, I still bought the re-edition of the manga, with the all new covers and translation (they are so beautiful !), I need to keep buying them, and also purchase the Sailor V's re-editions.

Before the end of the day, we did a little kind-of-photoshoot. Marie is very talented when it comes to take pictures, she has a very « idol-ish » style, that's very cute ! She shared great tips with me in order to take cuter photographs. Her outfit was so cute, wasn't it ? I'm so in love with her hairstyle and the headdress. When I first saw this headdress years ago in BtssB Paris shop, I thought I didn't like it, but Marie put it on very well and brightly !

We wanted to twin with the BtssB's Alice's Ribbon Kingdom print, however my own dress was in the washing basket. So I finally chose my Angelic Pretty jacket for a purple-white-and-black outfit ! My coordination was more in a cute-otome style, and that MILK dress is perfect for a cute but discrete look.

We spent all the afternoon together but then she had to come back to her sister's house. She had to leave Paris a few days later and go back to her home town — because her internship was over. I can't wait to see her again ! Our schedule are both busy, and we now live so far from each other... I guess we are lacking a bit of money and time, haha. She put a lot of her time into modeling, she dreams of becoming a lolita model, I bet she can do it ! If you want to see more about her, go to her Facebook page.
